Program Goals.
-
- – Glycemic metabolism
- – Nutrient and trace element requirements at the cellular level to support mitochondrial activity, counteract inflammation and redox levels, support basic enzymatic processes
- – Gastrointestinal function
- Improvement of body composition.
- Reduction of inflammation.
- Counteracting oxidative stress.
- Energy increase
- Hormonal rebalancing.
- Neuro-metabolic optimization
- Optimal blood glucose management and insulin resistance risk reduction.
Program structure
- Assisted Blood Glucose Monitoring (CGM): installation of a biweekly blood glucose monitoring patch with daily assistance from the nutrition biologist to analyze peaks and blood glucose curves and provide optimization input
- Basic Genetic Package: to provide a genetic risk assessment related to the target population for chronic diseases, as well as sensitivity to drugs and certain food components such as gluten, lactose, etc.
- Metabolomic Analysis: to assess cell metabolism, inflammatory level, and deficiencies in micronutrients, trace elements, and amino acids. essential for precision nutrition
- Genetic analysis of the microbiome: Advanced genetic test designed to provide an extremely detailed “snapshot” of the gut microbial ecosystem.
- DEXA: for measurement of body composition and bone density.
- Nutritional Plan Assessment + Monthly Follow up.: A personalized nutrition plan is created and updated monthly based on the results of instrumental assessments and progress achieved.
Medical Staff
La Precision Nutrition is carried out by a multidisciplinary team consisting of:
– Nutritionist: responsible for developing and updating the nutritional plan according to the patient’s progress and metabolic parameters detected.
– Dietitian specializing in insulin resistance (optional): provides targeted nutritional support for blood glucose and insulin resistance management, if needed.
– Longevity Doctor: responsible for diagnostic synthesis
Methods of Access and Timing
The entire program takes place over approximately 16 to 18 weeks: 4 to 6 dedicated to the laboratory component and 12 dedicated to the therapeutic component.
The diagnostic phase:
- Before the clinic visit: a thorough medical history by online questionnaire
- in clinic: activities of biological sampling (saliva for genetics,) and provision of the metabolomics kit (urine) and the microbiome kit (feces) which must be returned within 7gg. on this occasion of also carry out the Dexa Total Body and you install the patch from Abbot for assisted monitoring, which starts immediately
- online: arrangements are made visit with nutritionist for the program of CGM monitoring
- In clinic or online: after 15 days you schedule the return of the GCM monitoring with initial nutritional guidance.
- In clinic: after 4 weeks, the final return of the analyses performed (Genetics, Microbiota and Metabolomics) and completion of medical history.
The Therapeutic Phase:
- online: after 1 week you send the coordinated nutritional plan which takes into account the indications of the glycemic optimization phase and the findings of laboratory analysis.
- in clinic: Monthly meetings for evaluation of progress and adaptation/adjustment of the nutrition plan
The results of the analysis and diagnostic visits will be collected and analyzed, with the final production of a Personal Longevity Book summarizing all the information and recommendations for the patient.
Preliminary Recommendations
Prior to the start of the program, it is recommended to perform one of the checkup programs made available. If a preliminary checkup has not been performed, the program can be preceded by a series of diagnostic evaluations to further tailor therapeutic interventions.
Cost and Conventions
The program is structured in independent modules with specific results, starting from 350€ up to 2,150€; the possibility of having a quarterly precision nutrition program requires a minimum investment of 1,300€. None of the components are insurable by conventional insurance plans.
