Module Objectives.

The Performance Sport plus aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of the athlete, focusing on cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal and postural function. The service allows for. Identify sports-related risks, optimize training through measurement of aerobic threshold and VO2 MAX, compensate for any postural or muscular imbalances, and develop a personalized nutritional plan to support sports activity. This check-up also provides certification of sports fitness, which is essential for competitive athletes.

The Performance Sport Plus offers a comprehensive analysis of cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and postural health, ensuring safe and optimized sports practice. Athletes benefit from a multidimensional assessment that not only minimizes injury risks, but also allows for improved performance through a customized training program based on specific loads and individual needs. INSTRUMENTAL MODULE

  • Spirometry: for measuring respiratory function and lung capacity.
  • Exercise ECG: an ultrasound examination that evaluates cardiac structure and function.
  • Hematochemical Panel + Urine Examination.: to monitor key blood chemistry parameters and renal health.
  • CPET (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test): with determination of VO2 MAX, which measures maximum oxygen consumption capacity during exercise.
  • PT assessment with FMS (Functional Movement Screen): a test that measures fundamental movements and identifies deficits in mobility or stability.
  • Ability Postural Instrumentation: advanced technology for the analysis of postural balance and load dynamics.

EVALUATION MODULE

  • Initial assessment of respiratory capacity and related biomechanics: A team consisting of a breath trainer, osteopath, and physician analyzes individual respiratory capacity, left and right lung function, and respiratory muscle use .
  • Anamnesis + Sports Examination.: During the medical history, detailed information is collected on the athlete’s behaviors, habits, familiarity, and medical history, allowing for unique enrichment of examination results and personalization of the overall assessment.

The entire process of the program can be carried out within a day or a week at most, it is developed in several stages:

  1. Before the clinic visit: blood and urine tests
  2. In clinic: breath biomechanical assessment (60′) and muscle-articular assessment (60′) are fixed after 3 days
  3. In clinic: following previous evaluations, CPET assessment (45′) and visit with sports physician (30′) with final evaluation, recommendations, and issuance of sports certificate are performed

The results of the tests and diagnostic examinations will be collected and analyzed, with the final production of a Personal Sport Book summarizing all the information and recommendations for the patient.
