Francis Santangelo

Longevity Doctor, Medical Surgeon specializing in neurology

A physician specializing in neurology, I graduated in Medicine from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome in 2017 and specialized in Neurology at the University of Milan Bicocca in 2022. During my academic and professional career, I have devoted myself to preclinical research in the field of ischemic stroke and clinical research on transcranial magnetic stimulation.

My professional areas of interest include all neurological diseases, with main focus on cognitive decline and dementia, but also sleep, headaches, and extrapyramidal syndromes. At the integrated medicine level, I deal with nutrition, exercise, stress management, obesity, hormone therapies, aging-related frailty, and the impact of menopause on neurological and general health. My clinical practice includes advanced neurological evaluations and the application of integrated therapies, such as potentiating infusion therapy and ozone therapy, which aim to improve quality of life through a holistic approach.

I use diagnostic tools such as DEXA to assess body composition and especially visceral fat, and ECD-TSA (Cerebrovascular Doppler and Transcranial Examination) to study cerebral circulation. I also coordinate a multidisciplinary team of professionals engaged in the development and application of cognitive enhancement protocols, with the goal of preserving and improving cognitive function through personalized interventions.

In addition to clinical practice, I am actively involved in scientific outreach and education, participating in conferences and workshops. My integrated approach starts from preventive neurology and human capacity building, combining science, technology and psychophysical well-being for a healthier and more fulfilling life.
