Simone Lanati - SoLongevity
I graduated in Dietetics from the University of Pavia with a grade of 110/110 cum laude and am currently pursuing studies in Human Nutrition Sciences. I have gained experience in clinical nutrition through research fellowships at ICS Maugeri and the Laboratory of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition at the University of Pavia, collaborating on innovative studies on personalized nutrition.
My expertise ranges from assessing nutritional status to drafting personalized dietary plans for physiological conditions, such as pregnancy, sports activity and healthy aging, and for pathological conditions, including obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders and malnutrition. I also work on anti-aging nutrition, frailty and nutritional rehabilitation in cancer patients and in sarcopenia conditions.
I have participated in research projects, including the CLARITY study on continuous glucose monitoring in athletes, contributing to the analysis of metabolic data. I have been active in CME and academic teaching, lecturing on topics related to malnutrition and dietary management of chronic diseases. In addition, I have published scientific articles on micronutrient malnutrition and contributed to the review of EFSA publications.
My areas of interest include obesity and its complications, menopause, sarcopenia, anti-aging and precision nutrition for longevity, with a focus on prevention of metabolic diseases and optimization of quality of life.
