Francesca Baglio
Doctor Neurologist, IRCCS S. Maria Nascente, Don Gnocchi Foundation in Milan
Francesca Baglio is a neurologist at the IRCCS S. Maria Nascente – Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi in Milan, where she is Research Coordinator of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Laboratory, and is Adjunct Professor of Neurology at the University of Milan-Bicocca. During her career she has been scientific responsible for numerous research projects in the field of Neuroscience.
At the Don Gnocchi Foundation, she currently coordinates the activities of the Advanced Diagnostic and Rehabilitative Therapy Centre (CADiTeR) for the development of an innovative process of taking charge and rehabilitative treatment of patients with disability or chronicity. She is also Scientific Manager of the SIDERAAB project, which aims to design, develop and validate a platform for the continuity of care at home, supported by innovative technologies for patients with chronic diseases.
Baglio is author of numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals and more than 80 contributions to scientific conferences; she is also Associate Editor of the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease (JAD) and reviewer for international journals (Neurolmage, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, BioMed Research International, Biological Psychiatry, Frontiers Journals, Neurobiology of Aging).
